A fantastic day of Walking football, hotly contested with both Premiership and Championship tournaments going to last 2 games to decide the winner.
In the Premiership Worthing reds won by winning their last game v Horsham in a nail biter, the Reds needing a win after Portsmouth could only draw their last game. Pompey cheered Horsham on at every opportunity, hoping for a draw or a win. Horsham's keeper was having the game of his life as he made a treble save from John Ling and save Danny Dunks pile driver with his face.
As game wore on Horsham created several chances but Pete Bow made 2 excellent saves and, too everyone's amazement Horsham hit both post and the crossbar from the rebound and from the resulting Reds counter attack we made took the points with a well taken John Ling goal.
In the Championship both the Whites and Blues acquitted themselves very well, only missing out to Brighton Bees by the slenderest of margins and ruing drawing too many games.
