A game of two halves say Worthing Whites beaten 4-0 by Hurstpierpoint.
The first half was a very close affair with the Whites having the vast majority of the ball and passed it artound really well. 15 minutes in Mark Ellis encroacehd into the penalty area and Hurst converted from the spot to take anundeserved lead into half time.
Due to Steve Kennedy and Ricky Dumbrell having the maximum amount of warnings for running they had to be substituted at ha;f time with Andy Benn and Andy budd taking their places.
The Whites continued to dominate the second half which saw the heavens open and all concerned thoroughly soaked. The Whites had 3 or 4 good chances that Hursts keeper kept out, sometimes without knowing much about it. Half way through the half Dave Oliver tried to cut a through ball out but didn't quite make it giving Hursts striker a one on one with Neil Fockton which he put away cleanly.
After that the Whites were chasing the game and lost their shape which enabled Hurst to snatch two more goals which flattered them.
